At the beginning of 1994 a new company called AACT “Auxiliaire de l’Assurance et du Contentieux Transport” (Transport Insurance and Litigation Assistance) was created to enable our group to develop this activity.
This company has a well structured department and a state-of-the-art computer system and can as a result deal very effectively with all the problems likely to be encountered in the transport field and in particular:
- recovery
- general average procedures
- monitoring loading and unloading
- consulting
- enquiries
- claims management.
In addition, G.A.M.A can call on the assistance of a network of Experts specialising in all national and international transport disciplines and familiar with the greatest variety of goods:
- general cargo
- oils and grains
- metallurgical and chemical products
- industrial products
- hydrocarbons
- goods travelling under controlled temperatures.
G.A.M.A. is also connected with high-level departments of Technicians, likely to carry out appraisals on the ships and with a network of Correspondents all over the world, especially in the Mediterranean area and in Africa.
